Ah.. though photography is often my medium of choice, I never much cared for it as art to view. This seems ironic, because when I create art, I base what I think is my best on something that I like personally, that If i saw randomly I'd say.. 'thats cool'. Rarley has photography moved me enough to open my mouth and go 'woah'. but a few artists on here have changed that. They have some kind of insight into creating and capturing pictures that I lack.. and aspire to aquire. I thought I should give them props!

sureality's work is wonderfully varied. The use of vivid, appropriate colours abound here. He can capture the innocence and adorableness of a child, the sensual, lithe lines of a woman, the scowling expressions of a stone gargoyle (one of my personal faves) and more. On top of that, capture them well, with awesome asthetic and surley emotional value.

Much of liquidshaneo's photography stirs up a kind of contreversy in me. I like that, for its a challenge to do. In his recent journal entry he states that he wants to make a statement, and that my devious friends, he does. Evrey photo has a definite statement to it, some clearer than others, but definitley a powerful one. Most of the peices are of the human body, which is an oft photographed subject. But liquid definitley shines a novel light on it. While most of his images are bold and almost nerve-wracking, there are some tender ones to be found if you look hard enough.

earther's peices is just great. what can i say? His deviant status is 'wildlife photographer' which is hilariously fitting. His photos are like peeking into people's personal moments. Most are shots through crowds, featuring a speciffic person. While this could be awfully boring, it never ceases to entertain and invoke thought (and sometimes laughter). With stunning colour and feel, you get a look at all sorts of people through earther's eye. People you may not look twice at, are stars here. Some photos you view, and instantly your human mind forms an assumption of the person. but often, with a closer look theres something more, more feeling, more depth. Its something about capturing such character, almost a whole story about a person in such a normal setting, in such their normal way that makes earther's peices truly excellent.
